2017 Fete!
In October 2017, we will be holding our annual fete once again.
Our annual fete is a tradition that has survived well over 20 years and is one of the most popular fetes in the Bayside area. Debate is currently raging about the year the St. Paul's fete started (some say as far back as the 1960s so we are currently trying to figure this one out!)
Aiming for a sharp start at 9am, the fete will feature a plethora of stalls which will offer a wide range of treats. Trash and Treasure, Cakes and Jams, Pre-loved Toys, Clothes and Books will all be there as usual. There will also be our popular Devonshire Tea, Spinning Wheel, Showbags, Drinks and Food stalls.
Little ones will be in seventh heaven with a wide array of rides including the Mega Slide, Bubble Soccer, Chair-O -Plane, Junior Jumper Tramp Animal Farm, Harley Rides and Rock Climbing.
For the more daring, our Haunted House proved the most popular attraction last year for those brave enough to enter. It will be back bigger and even scarier than ever so BEWARE!
In addition to the rides, the fete will be visited once again by the gorgeous Frozen princesses, the mega popular Peppa Pig and the cheeky Spongebob Squarepants who will be seen at 10am and 1pm (and possibly other surprise times!)
For years, the fete has regaled guests from all parts of Melbourne who flock to the fete to have fun and grab a bargain. The festivities will incorporate roving buskers who will entertain guests throughout the day; the Year 7 College Band from St. Jame's College in Bentleigh East, a martial arts display and an outdoor Zumba class to groove to Latin American music.
Entertainment aside, there will be opportunities to win amazing prizes. Raffle tickets will be sold on the day of the fete and the names of the lucky winners will be drawn at 2pm. The Spinning Wheel also promises to offer great prizes.
All are welcome to our fantastic fete. Mark the date on your calendar and plan your travel by jotting the address 122 Jasper Road, Bentleigh down in your diary. Highly accessible by car and public transport, the fete will be a memorable event for the whole family.
Entry is free.
